She has an amazing vocabulary and can say almost anything you throw at her. The weekend before she came we went to the food festival at Melton Mowbray, we brought some Lincolnshire sausages, they were the most delicious sausages I've ever tasted!! and Eloise wolfed them back in an instant too, we had a fried egg, 2 sausages and a few chips that night accompanied by the obligatory 'dunky sauce' (Ketchup) .
I had to hand her over today (monday 10th) to her other Nanny and Grandad, they will take her home for her Mummy & Daddy in a few days. I was shattered but didn't want to see her go. I didn't know I could feel so much love for my grandchildren as I do, and as I waved goodbye I could feel a lump in my throat, and promptly burst into tears when I got inside.
Thank you Eloise for giving me a very hectic but lovely week. I wish I didn't have diabetes and get tired out as much as I do, I wish I could have had you for the whole 2 weeks, but I am getting older now and really haven't got as much energy as I thought I had. but my little darling, I LOVED having you and I love you so much.
